This variety of Fuggle was grown in the Alsace region of France.  It is mainly an aromatic hop that gives off notes of mint, grass, and floral undertones but also provides similar tasting notes. Commonly used in English Ales, Stouts, ESBs, Christmas Ales and Brown Ales.
